History
The heritage-protected house from the beginning of the 19th century got his brewery-license 150 years ago and was since 1850 a guesthouse.
In the beginning of the 20th´ century (1906) the house was expanded and got the actual appearance.
After renovation and modernizing in 1995 the hotel get his new splendor and is now one of the best adresses in town.
The Schlosschänke lies in the center of Hann. Münden -vis a vis- the castle, nearby the pedestrian area. Many half timbered houses line the streets and narrow alleys invite you for a flanerie. An absolut necessity is a visit at the confluence of the rivers Fulda and Werra. The Schlosschänke is the best base to explore the town, natur and rivers.
